2015 Scholarship winners announced!
Starting this year Hanover Jr Wildcats Football Inc. will award $2,000 in scholarships to graduating Hanover Central High School seniors. Students must meet the following criteria:
Student volunteering and participation in youth activities is an important criterion. At least one former HJW cheerleader and one former HJW football player will be selected to receive a scholarship of $1,000. The applicant does not currently have to be a football player or cheerleader. The applicant may or may not have participated in high school sports. The applications are scored and reviewed by the Hanover Jr. Wildcat’s Football Inc. board.
2015 Recipients of the Hanover Jr. Wildcats Football and Cheer Scholarship are, Matthew Baswell and Jacob Collins. Both played football in our organization and since we had no eligible cheerleaders this year, we awarded two deserving football players. Next year will be the first year with eligible cheerleaders. Both Jacob and Matthew have proven during the duration of their high school careers that they are great representatives of the values of Hanover Jr. Wildcat Football and Cheer. Good luck to both of these fine young men in the next phase of their lives! The scholarships recipients were formally announced with their families at our annual banquet Saturday 11/21/2015 at Hanover Central High School.
