This is a great opportunity to introduce your child to Football and Cheerleading in a non-competitive, instructional league. All Children are invited to come out and participate in this league without weight or town restrictions.
Season will start Saturday april 8th.  Here is the basic schedule:
Saturday april 8th practice 9:30A to 11:00a
Sunday April 9th games (schedule tbd) from 12p to 3p
Saturday April 22nd Practice 9:30A to 11:00a
Sunday April 23rd Games
Saturday April 29th practice 9:30A to 11:00a
Sunday April 30th games
Saturday May 6th practice 9:30a to 11:00a
Sunday may 7th games
Saturday may 13th tentative fund raiser game

All football & cheerleaders will receive a team jersey or shirt to keep Cost will be $50 per child.

Adult league for those 18yrs & older. Cost is $60 per adult

Sign-ups at the Hanover Trustees Office at 13330 Parrish Ave.

2016 Scholarship winners announced!

Starting in 2015 Hanover Jr Wildcats Football Inc. began awarding $2,000 in scholarships to graduating Hanover Central High School seniors. (one football and one cheer) Students must meet the following criteria:

  • Student must be a former Hanover Jr Wildcats Participant (football or cheer).
  • Student must be graduating from Hanover Central High School
  • Student must have a 3.0 GPA or above
  • Student must be a model citizen
  • Student must submit an essay on the impact of youth sports in shaping their development.

Student volunteering and participation in youth activities is an important criterion. At least one former HJW cheerleader and one former HJW football player will be selected to receive a scholarship of $1,000.


This years recipients are two very deserving young people.
